I noticed a few other things as well. The more I posted my weight loss in MFP, the less and less people seemed to notice, "like" my status. The less encouragement I got, Which makes sense...I overloaded people with my stuff...it's like a social media overload.
For the first time since January of this year, I'm making progress again. And I hope this can be a helpful learning experience for some. Letting those pounds gang up on you can make your fight that much harder. We all slip, we all stumble. But the faster you catch yourself, the sooner you can get to that rematch!
You gain 5lbs and think, no sweat, I’ll get rid of that. Suddenly it is 10lbs and you promise yourself you are going to get back on track, right after your birthday, Christmas, Canada Day, you name it. Oops, now there’s 20 and you purchase new clothes and those can stretch out another 10-15 and thus goes the slippery slope.
Look in mirror and remember that the only one you have to beat, the only one you have to be better than, the only person you are doing this for is you. Don't be so hard on yourselves. You are leaps and bounds from the person you were not too long ago <3
